On October 5, 2012 East Stroudsburg University held its annual Spirit Night to celebrate Homecoming weekend.  The event was held at Eiler-Martin Stadium and one of the activities was announcing the winner of the Annual Banner Contest.

The theme for the Banner Contest was “Blast From the Past.” Students were asked to create a banner roughly the size of a twin bed sheet.  The criterion was to incorporate school spirit, creativity, and the Blast from the Past theme.

PRSSA attended Spirit Night and had also entered the contest with a red and white tie dyed sheet that featured the retro Warrior mascot.  The banner read “We run with the Warriors,” and “PRSSA” was placed at the bottom.

The students and organizations that entered were offered the chance to win a cash prize that would be donated to their organization.  Third place was awarded to Active Minds; second place was awarded to Colleges Against Cancer, and first to Alpha Omicron Pi.
