On Thursday, January 26, 2017, members of the PRSSA chapter of East Stroudsburg University traveled to Harrisburg to attend a panel discussion hosted by the Pennsylvania Public Relations Society.
The panel discussion theme was personal branding and included three guest speakers local to Harrisburg and experts in their field. The experts included: radio personality, RJ Harris of WHP 580, blogger and Harrisburg insider Sara Bozich of SaraBozich.com, and Anne Deeter Gallaher owner and CEO of the Deeter Gallaher Group, specializing in public relations. Each representative answered a series of questions regarding their experiences personal branding in their professions. The discussion was accompanied by dinner and opportunity for networking with representatives from various local organizations.
The next PPRS meeting will take place on Thursday, February 23, 2017. All students are welcome to attend the next meeting. The cost of the meeting is $25, including dinner.
